Join members of Veterans For Peace, Military Families Speak Out, and Iraq Veterans Against the war when we meet in Minneapolis/St. Paul for th 23rd Annual VFP Convention. The convention begins Wednesday, August 27 with the Board Meeting and end Sunday, August 31 with a 24 Hour Fast and Reflection for Peace. Highlights will include speakers Scott Ritter, former UN Weapons Inspector, and Jeremy Scahill, independent journalist and author of "Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army."
